A playful school of sardines’ swim across half of this white earthenware serving platter, creating a striking pattern. The small fish designs have been applied to the large platter using a hand-sponging technique with reactive glazes, the deviating pressures of application resulting in various shades of blue. Each large platter is decorated by hand, making one-of-a-kind pieces that are sure to capture the imagination.
The platter is made by hand using techniques handed down through generations at a small family-owned factory in Italy, using high quality earthenware clay which is known for its strength and durability.
